La Casa del Médico, refurbished by us during the long days of the pandemic, was built in 1904. It has a Mudejar-style façade, made of stone masonry, with a wooden roof and structure typical of the buildings of the time, such as those found in the historic centre of the city of Toledo.

In the renovation of our house, respect for the original materials has been emphasised. We have restored the majesty of the original hydraulic floors, (floors that were invented in Spain in the middle of the 19th century, as an alternative to the Minton floor), as well as handcrafted all the wooden carpentry, doors, windows, shutters, friezes… with ecological varnishes
that are safe and respectful of both the environment and with the health of our guests, and we kept the original wooden roof, which is visable on all the ceilings of the rooms.
